Israeli military carried out airstrikes against Hamas targets inside Gaza strip after violent clashes near Israel border left dozens of people injured. The Israeli military said that it had targeted the Hamas weapons manufacturing sites inside Gaza and blamed the Islamist group for instigating protesters. The Israeli airstrikes came hours after massive stone-throwing clashes erupted between Israel troops and Palestinian protesters. According to Palestinian medics, more than 41 protesters were injured in the Israeli action, including a 13-year-old boy who was hit by a bullet.
