Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will emcee the 2017 Oscars. The 49-year-old comedian has been tapped to host the '2017 Academy Awards', which will be produced by Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd, Variety reports. This will be his first time Kimmel is hosting the Oscars even though he has previously hosted other big events like the Emmy Awards, the ESPY Awards and the American Music Awards. Nominations for the '89th Academy Awards' will be announced on January 24 and will air on ABC on February 26.
