Watch: Russian envoy on terror & recognition of Taliban-led govt in Afghanistan

• Russian ambassador to India Nikolay Kudashev admitted to concerns over terrorism emanating from Taliban controlled Afghanistan. Kudashev also added that Russia’s position on Afghanistan is the same as India. However, Kudashev also argued that Afghan people should be given time to rest and celebrate. Russia had played a proactive role in the Afghan peace process. The country had hosted Taliban in Moscow and its embassy in Kabul continued to function normally even during the recent tumultuous period of Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan.
