Watch | Thailand holds feast for simian friends
Updated on Nov 29, 2016 01:59 am IST
Every year a special food fest is held in Thailand's Lopburi province for all its monkey friends, for bringing in local & international tourists flocking to the region. The event was organised on 27th November, although the country is still in the one-year mourning period for its king. But it was toned down as a mark of respect. The monkeys are accustomed to thronging visitors, feeding them and are quite friendly with them. Special spreads of sticky rice, cashews and fruits are offered.
