Watch: US fires missile from warship to shoot down ICBM in defence test

The United States of America claimed to have demonstrated a new level of capability in its missile defence system. A missile fired from a warship intercepted and eliminated an intercontinental ballistic missile representing a threat. The ICBM was fired from Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands, while the interceptor missile was fired from the USS John Finn which was stationed to the northeast of the Hawaii islands. Earlier tests included ground-based missiles, not ship-based. Watch the full video for more.
