What’s under the black cover? Chinese President Xi Jinping’s secretive Hongqi N701 presidential limousine has arrived in Delhi, drawing attention during the BRICS Summit. Known as China’s “Red Flag,” the N701 is a highly protected state vehicle believed to feature bullet-resistant glass, reinforced bodywork and other security measures. Reports have linked the limousine to a powerful V12 engine and extensive armour, although many specifications remain unconfirmed. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Aurus Senat has also been spotted in Delhi, bringing two of the world’s most closely guarded presidential cars into focus.
