Zaporizhzhia Set For Nuclear Accident? Watchdog Raises Alarm Over Explosive Mines At Plant | Details

United Nations' nuclear watchdog has raised concerns over mines at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. IAEA said it saw anti-personnel mines at the plant and that the devices were placed in "restricted areas" that operating personnel can't access. IAEA added that laying mines at the site was inconsistent with safety and security standards. The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant has been under Russian occupation. Europe's largest nuclear facility fell to Russian forces shortly after the war began. Kyiv and Moscow have accused each other of planning an incident at the site.
