Baloch people to intensify fight for Gwadar Port
Updated on Feb 25, 2013 03:14 pm IST
The President of Pakistan is proud for having sold off the strategic Gwadar Port to China. The pact signed in Islamabad will help Beijing strengthen its military and business potential, while Balochistan province of Pakistan will face further hardships, both financially and politically. In a pre-planned strategy, China financed 80 per cent of the $248 million development cost of the port on the Arabian Sea. It has now officially taken control of the port.
