British street artist Banksy sneaks into Gaza to make graffiti

According to a short film posted on Banksy's website, the popular street artist sneaked into Gaza through an underground tunnel from Egypt. The video shows aftermath footage from the 2014 Gaza summer war and includes political commentary about the strip's misery. In Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday, local resident Mohammed Shenbary, 29, said a western artist had arrived with a Palestinian translator and painted a picture of a kitten on the only remaining wall of his wrecked house. Another graffiti shows, people swinging from a black watchtower, as though it is a fairground ride, and the graffiti nearby reads: "If we wash our hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless, we side with the powerful - we don't remain neutral.
