Cyclone kills thousands

Myanmar's official media has reported the death of over 10,000 people in the town of Bogalay in the country's Irrawaddy Delta. The report confirmed fears of a spiraling death toll because of the cyclone Nargis. The government has asked for aid from the international community. The cyclone ripped through the Irrawaddy Delta on Saturday at a wind speed of 120 miles per hour.
