Death toll reaches 22 in Baghdad twin blasts

The death toll in the French Embassy convoy blast in Baghdad that took place on Monday has climbed up to 22. Majority of the victims were bodyguards. A Reuters witness said one of the cars in the convoy was badly damaged, along with two other civilian cars at the spot. Earlier in Shaab district of northern Baghdad, a parked car bomb went off, killing a civilian and wounding four others including two policemen, a security source said.
