Yahya, 14, spent nearly five months at the "Farouq institute for cubs", a camp in the Syrian city of Raqqa, the Islamic State group's de facto capital. Yahya and his brother were able to escape the camp a few months ago by sneaking out at night when their guards were asleep. IS claims to have hundreds of similar camps - the true number is not known, nor is the number of children who have gone through the training.
