Iraq govt to reconstruct Sikh shrine in Baghdad

In a significant development, Iraq government has decided to rebuild a 15th century Sikh shrine in Baghdad. Destroyed during the war in 2003, the shrine will be reconstructed by the Iraq government on the appeal of Indian spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who is on a peace mission in Baghdad. Iraq's Vice President, Adil Abd Al-Mahdi gave assurance of taking necessary measures.
