Lal Masjid chief cleric held while fleeing

The chief cleric of Lal Masjid besieged by Army troops was caught on Wednesday trying to escape wearing a woman's burqa as over 1,200 radical students and militants holed up in the mosque complex surrendered to the government. Talking to reporters, Information Minister Mohammad Ali Durrani said authorities were forced to act because of pressure from the media and the international community.
