'More US troops will not stop violence'

A United States decision to increase troop numbers in Afghanistan has received a cautious response in Kabul following a spate of recent military operations. Afghanistan's Member of Parliament, Ramazan Bashardost, said that the American government needed to be clear about what it wanted to achieve by sending in more troops.
