No fuel cuts till oil companies recover losses: PM

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday said the government is not considering an immediate cut in retail prices of petrol and diesel as state-run firms are still incurring revenue losses by selling at government-fixed prices. Singh further defended the government decision asking the state-run oil companies not to stop aviation turbine fuel supplies to airlines over non-payment of bills.
