Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on March 09 announced that he would join the late Benazir Bhutto's party, Pakistan People's Party, in a coalition. Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, or PML N, had earlier vowed to support the PPP but had not confirmed that the party would join the PPP in forming a government.
