Successful Offensive against LTTE provides pol solution

India's External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee has called for a political solution in Sri Lanka after the military operation against LTTE. After meeting Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse on Tuesday, Mukherjee told media persons in Colombo that military victory against the LTTE provides an opportunity to resolve the 23 year old conflict in Sri Lanka.
