Expert on Middle East affairs and eminent journalist Waiel Awwad has blamed the American policies for the latest instance of an attack on the US consulate in Libya which resulted in the death of the US Ambassador and three other American diplomats there. Awwad also added that the incident is a result of the anarchy and rise of various groups and militant outfits that have occurred due to the US presence in Libya. In contrast to Awwad's views, former Indian ambassador to the US, Naresh Chandra does not see this as an act created out of public anger but more as an organized crime.
