'US relationship has never been so good'

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who faces political turmoil at home over a civilian nuclear deal with the US is unperturbed over the situation. Singh who is in Japan to attend the G8 summit on Wednesday said that ties with Washington have never been as good as they are now. The communist allies of the ruling coalition on Tuesday withdrew support for Singh's government to protest at the Indo-US nuclear deal.
