A Pennsylvania-based photographer who visited Switzerland from July 26 until August 2 took the opportunity to create a stunning time-lapse video of its mountains.Samuel Ferrara visited Zermatt, Gornergrat and the famous Matterhorn mountain, among other places, during the eight day shoot. The video shows clouds drifting around the mountains and the sun rising. It finishes with the sight of lamps being lit on the Matterhorn to commemorate 150 years since it was first successfully climbed.
Ferrera said he took a photo every five to 20 seconds and edited them together to run at 24 photographs every second for the time-lapse effect.
