A chimpanzee escaped from the Yagiyama Zoological Park in Sendai city in Japan. The chimpanzee was on the loose for over an hour before climbing an electricity pole, where officials shot the simian with a sedative. Footage captured the chimpanzee losing strength and falling off the pole, before being captured. Zoo officials said they were investigating how the 24-year-old chimpanzee, named Chacha, had escaped.
