The search for the country's no.1 kingpin is set to get harder with Halloween revellers snapping up a mask and outfit of the fugitive cartel head.

At this factory in Cuernavaca masks are being produced in Guzman's likeness.

Hector Bustos, the mask designer, said, “The face mask is based on the first photos taken of him, because it's the more identifiable profile of him.”

Guzman is the head of Mexico's notorious Sinaloa Cartel, which is thought to be responsible for illegal drug smuggling and countless murders. He escaped from prison last June and is still on the run.

The El Chapo prison stripes and mask costume retails for about $36 U.S. dollars, and is expected to be available in about 30 other countries.
