Watch: Feline-loving Saudi sisters open Middle East’s first cat cafe in Dubai
Updated on Jun 15, 2015 08:06 pm IST
Saudi entrepreneur and animal-lover Iman al-Aulaqi is the proud owner of Middle East's first cat cafe. The business was born after Iman and her sister Allaa heard about cat cafes elsewhere in the world. Iman keeps 20 cats at the cafe and has another 10 at home. At the cafe called Aliuromania, meaning passion for cats, customers can book a table for an hour and enjoy their tea or coffee in the company of feline friends. The food on sale is provided by outside catering and not prepared at the cafe. Coffee is brewed in a separate area.
