More than 500 brightly coloured hot air balloons took to the sky on Sunday (October 11) for the final day of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico, US. Thousands of spectators witnessed the nine-day event coming to a close with a final mass ascension at dawn. Dozens of balloons representing dozens of states and nearly 20 different countries were registered this year.
