Actor George Clooney and his lawyer wife Amal have met with three Syrian refugee families who now live in Berlin. The meeting was arranged by the International Rescue Committee on Tuesday on the occasion of the anniversary (March 15) of the start of the Syrian conflict. George Clooney said, “It was an honour to meet three Syrian families whose lives have been shattered by war and inspiring to learn that the people of Germany are helping them put their lives back together.”
