The first face projection mapping live show took place in Madrid starring American model and tattoo artist Kat Von D. Audiences were treated to a spectacular ten-minute display of digital moving images, mapped onto Von D's face and upper body.

The show took four months to develop, with 3500 hours spent on the visual effects. Von D was joined on stage by a quartet under the direction of Alicia Reyes, who composed all the music and sound effects for the show.
