Watch | The moment lightning purportedly strikes Korean Air flight in mid-air

This video of lightning purportedly striking the left wing of a Korean Air flight shot by a passenger has captured quite some interest globally. The plane is believed to be on a descent to land at the airport in Seoul, South Korea. It reportedly departed from Singapore. The video has been posted on YouTube and credit to Myagmarsuren Ricci, who it is believed used a GoPro to film the incident. In the short clip one can see lightning ricocheting off the plane's wing, leaving a trail of sparks.
