Xi’s Iran offer for America comes with a price: will Trump leave Taiwan defenceless? |China, Mojtaba

A reported China-U.S. bargain could put Iran and Taiwan at the centre of Donald Trump and Xi Jinping’s upcoming summit in Washington. According to Reuters, three sources say Beijing has offered to help pressure Iran over the Middle East war in exchange for U.S. concessions on arms sales to Taiwan, including a possible halt to weapons deliveries already ordered by Taipei.
