Four-year-old uses Siri to save his mother’s life

The boy’s mother collapsed and was unresponsive, but he managed to press her thumb to her phone’s home button to unlock it.

A four-year-old London boy saved his mother’s life after he found her unconscious and used Apple’s Siri to dial 999 — the UK emergency number — to call for help.

Police said the boy’s mother had collapsed and was unresponsive, but he managed to press her thumb to her phone’s home button to unlock it.

In an audio clip of the call, released by the London Metropolitan Police on YouTube, the boy, identified as Roman, is heard telling dispatchers that his mother is dead. He follows their directions to try and revive her, before telling them his home address.

The police department also said that they released the audio of the emergency call to encourage parents to make their children memorise their home address for emergencies.
