Chef Vikas Khanna took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle on November 9 to celebrate the first eight months of Bungalow, his beloved Indian restaurant that opened in March. In the short time since its debut, Bungalow has welcomed a host of celebrity guests, including the Ambanis, Shah Rukh Khan, and several Hollywood stars.

Vikas Khanna reminds Donald Trump of his Indian cuisine promise
On November 5, America elected its 47th president, bringing former President Donald Trump back to the White House. Chef Vikas Khanna, who earned his first Michelin star for his New York-based restaurant Junoon, also joined in the congratulatory messages for Trump. In his post, Khanna reminded Trump of a promise made during their previous meeting four years ago, addressing him as "Mr. President." "Hello, Mr. President! Hope to cook Indian cuisine at The White House as you promised the last time we met," he wrote in the caption alongside a picture.
The picture captures both the star and the Republican leader shaking hands, taken in 2020 at Rashtrapati Bhavan during a dinner hosted by then-President Ram Nath Kovind.
