Since the identification of Joshua Jahn as the suspect in the shooting at the ICE facility in Dallas on Wednesday, details on his family have come out. His brother, Noah Jahn, has told NBC News that Joshua was not politically inclined against the ICE. Now, his mother's Facebook profile is being dug up.

Sharon Jahn's Facebook profile shows that in 2022, she made a post against on the stand taken on gun laws by Texas GOP politicians, including Governor Gregg Abbott and Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn.
“Governor Abbott, Senator Cornyn and Senator Cruz how does it make you feel that your action to open up gun laws is responsible for the killing of 21 more people?” the post read.
“Do you secretly sit in front of a tv and smile a demented smile? You must be proud of all the money that sits in your bank accounts from the gun lobby support. Was it worth it, Governor Abbott? How about you senators?” she added.

Additionally, Noah revealed that his parents owned a rifle, but Joshua was not good at using it. He said that though he knew how to shoot, he was not good at it. “He’s not a marksman. He would not be able to make any shots like that,” he said.
The Department of Homeland Security said that they are investigating whether shots were fired from a nearby rooftop, in what could be a potential sniper attack. Meanwhile, the FBI is investigating it as an “act of targeted violence.”
