A Delhi court directed that a criminal complaint be registered against a woman who was found to be filing false rape cases to extort money.

“She has the entire state machinery into motion and tried to use the law for her benefit knowing full well that the allegations levied by her were false,” said the court.
“The court is appalled by her conduct,” additional chief metropolitan magistrate Gaurav Ra os aid and directed“SHOPS Saket... to initiate appropriate proceedings.”
The order came while dealing with a cancellation report on a rape case filed by a South Delhi woman on February 8 last year.
The prosecutrix in question also registered a separate FIR against the accused in April last year. And he in turn had filed a complaint alleging criminal intimidation and extortion.
During the investigation of the rape allegations, “the entire conspiracy hatched by the prosecutrix was unearthed,” the court noted.
Investigating officer Nitesh Sharma himself filed a cancellation report saying that “instead of her (prosecutrix’s) case being coorborated, it was revealed that she had hatched a well planned conspiracy to extort money from the alleged persons.”
