Atelier’s Youth Theatre Week (AYTW), in association with Hindustan Times, is in its full swing. After three days of street play performances, the focus has now shifted to Proscenium theatre. The first day of stage play performances saw four plays from the Delhi University.

The opening play of the day was

Shakkar ke Paanch Daane

by Kirori Mal College followed by

Cut It Out

by IP College. “The play throws light on the guilt that engulfs a mother over the death of her daughter. It also throws light on the intricate complexities in simple relationships within a family,” says the director of the play, Lalima Chhabra.

The other performances of the day were

Clatta

from Hansraj College and

The inheritance of the Jhujhunwallas

from SRCC.
