Despite having no previous dancing background, London-based salsa dancer Super Mario is an inspiration to dance lovers across the world. He talks about his work and love for Hindi films.
How did you achieve the title of Million Moves Man ?
I feel blessed to have got this title from my fans. People call me that because I can create any number of unique dance combinations. I’m now striving to become the Trillion Moves Man.
How do you intend to make your performance in India special?
I’m bringing my latest moves to my fans and friends in India. I’m also looking forward to participating in India Fiesta Latina.
Do you watch Bollywood films? If yes, which actor would you love to choreograph?
I watch a lot of Bollywood movies. I love the way Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan dance. I’d like to share my salsa experience with them.
How important is fitness for dancing?
I was 160 kg when I started out. Through years of training and dancing, I lost 45 kg. So, yes, fitness is a very vital part of dancing.
