can be viewed at the recently re-opened Musical Instruments Gallery at the National Museum, Janpath.
The renovated gallery boasts of a large collection of string, percussion and wind instruments, both folk and classical.

Most of the Indian instruments belong to the period between the 17th and 19th centuries. There are also a few 19th century western instruments. In all, there are 125 musical instruments on display.
