Art lovers are upset as the dust from Ai Weiwei's exhibit of 100m ceramic seeds prompted the Tate Modern gallery, London, to ban public interaction.

The ongoing exhibit titled The Unilever Series, Sunflower Seeds, by Ai Weiwei can now only be viewed from from behind a barrier. The reason? Health and safety. It's the dust, they say. Newly installed signs said that the health risks of inhaling ceramic dust from the tiny seeds as they rubbed up against each other, were too great. A statement said:

“This dust could be damaging to health following repeated inhalation over a long period of time.”
