Organisers of the 10th World Hindi Conference in Bhopal are leaving no stones unturned to cash in on actor Amitabh Bachchan's address on ways to popularise 'rajbhasha' (official language) among youths on the concluding day of the conference.
Talks are on to arrange for the live telecast of the actor's speech.
The move comes only days after chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan personally appealed to the traders in Bhopal to change signboards of their business establishments into the vernacular language.
"We are trying to make arrangements for a live telecast for Amitabh Bachchan's speech that he would deliver on the concluding day of the 10th World Hindi Conference," said vice-president of the organising committee, Anil Madhav Dave.
Entry to the venue, Lal Parade Ground, would remain restricted for invitees only, he said.
The World Hindi Conference would be inaugurated on September 10 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The three-day conference would conclude on September 12 in presence of home minister Rajnath Singh and actor Amitabh Bachchan. Besides, minister for external affairs Sushma Swaraj and minister of state for external affairs Gen (retd) VK Singh would also attend the programme.
A member from the organising committee, not wishing to be named, told HT that apart from telecasting Bachchan's speech live on television, including Doordarshan, arrangements were being made for webcasting it as well.

{{/usCountry}}"It would be loaded on the android app Drishyaman and official website of World Hindi Conference," he said. The android app Drishyaman and dedicated website has been designed especially for the event, the official said adding that the app would have audio-visuals of papers presented in the conference, speeches and other interactive programmes.
A mini-city is being prepared at Lal Parade Ground with several sections dedicated to veteran Hindi poets, writers and litterateurs.
Special shuttle buses would remain in operation from September 9 to 13 to ferry participants coming from 27 countries, between the venue and the airport and railway stations. About 3,000 participants are expected to participate in the mega event.
