CBI sources said the search was also carried out at other premises including offices of builder Puneet Godha and his elder brother and senior lawyer Vineet Godha.

Earlier on Tuesday, the CBI team had carried out search at Godha brothers’ office situated at Malviya Nagar and had recovered important documents from the office.

Totlani, who has been absconding since the arrest of Godha brothers, had recently surrendered before special CBI court in Delhi. He is accused of transferring bribe money to Godha brothers on behest of their brother-in-law SK Jain. CBI officials believe that Totalni had transferred money to Godha brothers earlier too.

SK Jain, former CMD of Syndicate Bank, Bangalore, had allegedly demanded Rs 60 lakh from a private firm to extend its bank loan credit.
