A handwritten note was found from the house in which it was written that she was ending her life because she was in love with a man and couldn't live with him because of her husband who put restrictions on her.

CSP (TT Nagar) Rameshwar Singh said that it was a case of suicide. "The suicide note has been recovered and it is being examined," he said. Vaishali's husband Rahul Dubey is also a practicing homeopath, who is currently posted in Chhindwara.

Sources said that the note suggested that Vaishali had fallen in love with one, Neetesh, and was upset because being married she couldn't enter into wedlock with him. In the suicide note, she cursed her husband and prayed to God to give him punishment.
