Swine flu deaths continued to spiral in Madhya Pradesh with more persons succumbing to the viral disease on Friday, taking the toll to 111. The total number of people who have tested positive for H1N1 virus in the state has reached to more than 450.

In Bhopal, four people died from swine flu, including three women.

Three women patients were being treated for swine flu at LBS hospital, Hajela Hospital and Agarwal Hospital respectively.

The man was admitted at the National Hospital.

With this, the death toll due to H1N1 flu in Bhopal has reached 31.

Meanwhile Bhopal reported 18 new H1N1 positive cases, taking the figure of positive cases this season to over 190. On Friday, 71 samples have been sent for testing from Bhopal .

With one more woman succumbing to the viral flu, the death toll in Indore reached 45 on Friday.

He further said seven more people have tested positive for the H1N1 virus on Friday and 29 fresh throat swab samples have been sent for testing.

Meanwhile, a two-member epidemiologist team from Delhi visited the MY Hospital in Indore to take stock of situation.

A middle aged woman, who originally hailed from Uttar Pradesh died in Gwalior on Friday, a health official said.

Five people were diagnosed with H1N1 infection in the district, including a junior doctor, he added. Since January this year, nine people have died due to H1N1 flu in the Gwalior-Chambal region.

In Jabalpur, one suspected death of a middle aged man was reported .Two fresh cases of H1N1 infection have been detected in the district on Friday.
