Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) declared results of 17.18 lakh students of class X and XII on Tuesday afternoon. As many 65.49% students passed in class XII and 51.9% in class X.
Ruchi Sharma of Sidhi district topped the merit list of class XII by securing 96.80% marks. Incidentally, her twin sister Suchi Sharma also made it to the merit list. She got 10th position and 10 marks less than that of Ruchi. A visually impaired girl Shrishti Tiwari ranked third in the merit list of class XII.
A labourer’s daughter Poonam Ghore topped in merit list of class X in board exams.
Notably, Ghore who comes from Betul district was adopted by the superintendent of police of the district Lalit Shakyawar for studies. He supported her morally and financially during her studies and preparations for the examinations.
