As the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) was preparing itself to invite aspirants for interviews, the Indore bench of MP high court on Tuesday issued notices to the state government and the commission to file reply on PSC-2012 paper leak case.

"When a team of Special Task Force (STF) has found wide-range of irregularities and submitted charge sheet before the court, how can they (MPPSC) further continue with the examination process,” said advocate Pushyamitra Bhargav, the counsel for the petitioners.
Citing an example of quashing the 'MPPSC Ayurvedic Doctor Recruitment Exam-2013', the advocate said, "The examination was cancelled after STF submitted a chargesheet in the matter, then why is the commission not willing to quash PSC-2012 and conduct the examination afresh."
Angered with the turn of events and revealing cases of maladministration in the commission's functioning, a few aspirants had approached the high court here earlier this month, to intervene and bring about justice to hundreds of aspirants.
When asked about a fair solution in the matter, a 25 year-old public service aspirant said, "After court's intervention, the commission may announce the examination as void and conduct exams afresh. But what is the guarantee that the examination will be conducted in fair manner, when MPPSC is in news for all wrong reasons."

{{/usCountry}}Of late, most of the examinations conducted by MPPSC were mired into some or other kind of controversies losing its credibility in public eye.
"MPPSC has now become a joke," said another aspirant. Amidst legal and administrative tangles, the only people that suffer the most are students, he added.
The students invest precious time of their lives and money in preparing for the exams, and after some scandal crops up, they are asked to re-appear for the examination, how this can be justice, he questioned requesting anonymity.
The petitioners are demanding to revamp the structure of the commission to bring about transparency in the examination process and recruitment.
