Teen kidnapped, gangraped for days in MP, woman among 9 suspects

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gangraped multiple times by four men at different places in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh.

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gangraped multiple times by four men at different places in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh.

The girl was rescued in Nala Mohalla locality of Itarasi town by Pipariya police on Monday. Seven of the nine accused have been detained by the police, while two others are on the run.

According to a senior officer of Hoshangabad police, the teenager worked at a Saree stitching centre in Pipariya. She was lured by a woman to Pipariya railway station on June 7.

At least four men kidnapped her from the railway station and took her to Bankhedi jungles, where they allegedly raped her.

Subsequently she was taken by the accused woman and aides to another place in Itarsi town. She was held captive at a house in Nala Mohalla locality and raped for three days again by four men with the help of five others, including the accused woman, between June 10 and 13.

The girl’s family reported her sudden disappearance on June 11 to Pipariya police, after which the cops started working in the matter. Three days later, the girl was tracked to a locked in a house in Nala Mohalla.
