Teen says son of MP CM’s security staff ‘raped’ her at govt quarters

An 18-year old woman has said that she was raped at the servant quarters of a BJP legislator’s bungalow in Bhopal last month, naming the son of a home guard attached with the CM’s security arrangement in her complaint.

The woman said she had kept mum since the crime as she had been under pressure from the accused, whose father lives at the same servant quarters.

“The suspect has fled the state. We have inputs about him in a city but it is yet to be verified. We will nab him soon,” said town inspector of TT Nagar police station, Manish Raj Singh.

The incident, according to the complaint, took place on December 26. The suspect was identified as Sarvesh Bais. His father is a driver in the chief minister’s security cell.

According to TT Nagar police, the victim lives with their parents at the MLA’s servant quarters.
