Ali was told by his co-stars Siddharth and Divyendu, that for a song in the film titled, Har Ek Friend Kamina Hota Hai, he would have to dance in his boxers.

When Ali cross-checked this with Dhawan, the director continued to play the prank on Ali and said that he did want that sequence. Ali was really shy, but started rehearsing for the song. However, during the rehearsals, every time Ali stripped down to his boxers, everyone on the set would start rolling in laughter. Ali later found out that he would not have to wear his boxers for the song, and that this was a prank that his two co-stars had played on him.
