The Hindi adaptation of William Shakespeare’s classic, Romeo and Juliet Ram-leela and the tale of a nautch girl Rajjo hit the theatres today. Horror thriller Insidious Chapter 2 will also be releasing on Friday.

When Ram and Leela see each other for the first time, their worlds collide, wars are fought and destinies are written in blood. Set in a land of guns and vengeance against a musical backdrop, Ram and Leela fight the world to live their own dreams. But will their love be accepted by their warring families? Chandu visited the kothas of Nagpada for the first time with his friends to celebrate his victory. There he meets Rajjo, who mesmerises him with her powerful mujra dance. For Chandu, it is love at first sight. He belongs to a family of music lovers and music is the common running thread, so is the strong attraction that draws Rajjo and Chandu together and seals their love. Begum, who runs the kotha, is a very strict person, but when he gets to know about Rajjo’s love, he gets her and Chandu married. Meanwhile, Handa Bhau is a corporator with powerful political connections, and he wants Rajjo at any cost. Bhau tries to break the relationship in all possible ways. Whether he succeeds or not forms the rest of the film.
