Actor Aamir Khan’s upcoming film about a wrestler and his daughters, is already making quite a buzz. Now, we hear that the Turkish Ambassador, on his visit to India, met with the actor and invited him to shoot the film in Turkey.

According to a source, “Wrestling is widely ­practiced in Turkey and is a popular sports. Since, Aamir’s film is based on the life of a wrestler and there are a lot of wrestling arenas in Turkey, the country could be an appropriate ­destination for the shoot.”

The source adds, “The ambassador also happens to be a huge fan of Aamir and so was keen to meet him and talk about the prospects.”

But Aamir is yet to revert on the proposal, for now he has forwarded the invite to his team.

When contacted the spokesperson of the film confirmed the news, saying, “Aamir met with the Turkish ­ambassador and they have not just extended an invitation for the film to be shot there but have also promised full ­support from the ­authorities. However, the final call is yet to be taken."
