Actor-producer Ajay Devgan scheduled a meeting with members of the Sikh community in Amritsar after they alleged that Devgan’s upcoming film,Son of Sardaar , hurt religious sentiments. Devgan, 43, was expected to meet SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) officials, Sikh lawyers and members of All India Sikh Student Federation (AISSF). Last week, Karnail Singh, president of AISSF, had requested stern action against Devgan for ‘blasphemous’ remarks against the community as shown in the film’s trailer.
