Akshay-Twinkle’s angel Nitara turns five: 21 times they teased fans with her photos

Actor Akshay Kumar’s daughter Nitara turns a year older today and the actor has posted an adorable video of her shaving his beard.

That Akshay Kumar is a loving husband is known. But he is equally a doting father of two — Aarav (15) and Nitara, who has turned five today. Not many would know that she was originally named Nitara Khanna-Bhatia to pay tribute to veteran actor Rajesh Khanna. Reportedly, Akshay wanted to have her second name as Khanna following by his original second name (Bhatia).

Akshay Kumar’s daughter, Nitara was born on September 25, 2012 at Breach Candy Hospital, South Bombay.

Though Akshay rarely talks about his kids during interviews, he quite often takes to social media to share adorably cute pictures of Nitara. Not only Akshay, even his wife, actor Twinkle Khanna too, doesn’t miss a chance to share the most intriguing photos of their princess. But it’s rather interesting how each time there’s a new father-daughter or mommy-daughter moment to share, they manage to keep Nitara’s face hidden, almost in all photos, hence teasing fans in the cutest way possible.

Nevertheless, shutterbugs have been lucky, as there have been times, thought rarely, when they managed to capture Nitara at airport with her parents, leaving for or returning home after a holiday. Needless to say, she’s inherited good looks from her star parents.
